H.B. Neild Construction leadership was honored to accept an “Employer of the Year” honor from Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas.
Seven SETX companies were recognized during the 2026 Employer Awards, with H.B. Neild named “Small Employer of the Year.”
Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Board Member Claire Jackson said the award recognizes commitment to workforce development, employee growth and community engagement, creating a lasting impact on workers in Southeast Texas.
In announcing the honor, the Motiva Enterprises Social Responsibility & Community Affairs Manager said H.B. Neild Construction “takes a long-term approach to workforce development through ongoing investments in employee training, NCCER certifications, workplace safety and professional development.”
The company’s efforts to advance safety best practices throughout the construction industry, along with its participation in workforce initiatives, educational programs and industry advocacy, highlight its standing as a community leader.
According to Associated Builders of Southeast Texas, H.B. Neild’s longstanding investments in workforce partnerships, employee development and industry leadership strengthen the region’s talent pipeline while supporting continued growth for the region’s construction corridor.
Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas also highlighted H.B. Neild’s community backing beyond the job site, including its history of supporting the Samaritan Counseling and Wellness Center, Gear Up for Game Wardens, Big Thicket Hogs & Strings and leading its own annual Christmas toy drive.
“Combined with its commitment to workforce development, safety, and community service, they exemplify what it means to invest in employees, strengthen the community, and contribute to long-term economic success in Southeast Texas,” Jackson concluded.
